Dear Mom

Dear Mom

Dear Mom,

You embody sacrifice and devotion to your family and we often take it for granted.

But know that not a day goes by that you do not make an impact on the lives of everyone you touch.

Thank you for giving me a lifetime of unwavering support. Thank you for reminding me that it is not the material things that matter; that experiences are worth more than a closet full of shoes and that integrity and kindness are currencies accepted around the world.

From some of my earliest and most prized memories exploring the streets of Paris with you, you have taught me that true style and grace comes from within. All the clothes and jewels in the world could not compare to your generosity and richness of spirit.

I have been lucky enough to grow up with a mom who put her children first - who let her children follow their dreams, make their own mistakes and without so much as batting an eyelash, be there to wipe away tears and bandage wounds. And after it all, you are always our biggest champion.

I hope one day to be a mom like you - selfless, sincere and graciously accepting of the criticisms that daughters can often bestow. You define what it is to be elegant in character, always putting the needs of other over your own.

I hope today brings you laughter and know that I could not imagine a mom - even in all my wild enthusiasms and daydreams - better than you.

Love,

Ebbie
